First Annual Day Function at Blue bells school

March 23th, lovely day I enjoyed a lot and so thrilled to see Sarvesh dance program at his school. When I say that he s going to do dance program to my friends, they are also so excited. His teachers trained him to dance for a week. I know its very difficult to make them dance in front of a huge audience. From morning itself I started praying to God that he should do well and should not cry infront of everyone. He is a good dancer, he dance almost for everything at home. I donno a perfect way to take away his stage fear, but this is a too early thought (Sarvesh is only 3 yrs old). I am sure what ever I cant do , his school mam – Mrs Mary Thomas can surely do that , because Sarvesh likes her so much. Initially, she thought that Sarvesh wont dance and he has shy, fear and cry , so she didn’t plan anything for him. But after seeing him dancing really good for one program, she also trained him to do another dance program with his friends. She always told this to hari and ask him to pray to god that he should do well. Only 2 persons are allowed for the function. So we both (Hari and me) planned to go to function, inspite of hectic work and calls at office. I went so early to office to finish my tasks and came so soon to be there at time but Hari as usual late to the program.

5.30, Blue bells school, no place to sit, all seats are occupied, we were standing for almost 2 hrs to watch the program. So many conditions were announced – No eye contact with the Kids, No signs of dance, No whistle, etc etc. we were eagerly waiting for the black boy – they asked us to dress Sarvesh in black t-shirt and black pant. 2 to 3 programs was over, his mam announced that “ Now , you are going to watch a beautiful dance performance of ten little fingers of Blue bells”. I thought that he might come for this program because he might do well in a group dance rather than alone. Hari told me “Hey, he came..” so nice to see him ..Make up, dressed up like a finger, very nice, but Sarvesh is searching for us immediately when he is placed on the stage. I told hari to hide, because once Sarvesh saw his daddy, he wont do anything except crying. So we both hide behind a tree but watched his first dance program. My cute little boy singed along with the song and danced well. So lovely, cute, I remembered my first program at my school – CSI Matric.School, Coimbatore. Me and hari together danced for a tamil rhyme for the annual day - Sweet Memories, Sarvesh also did same way what we did those days.

I was so curious to show me to him, but hari stopped me and said that there is one more program for him, please don’t show your face, he might cry. So I just clapped and laughed loudly, I cant control my happiness. There are so many programs, in each dance program, there is atleast one kid that starts crying and the other one might think, let me cry or not. I enjoyed a lot watching the program. Now, Sarvesh’s next program, with his friends, sandhavi, harishini… I love to see all the three at the stage. They are so thick friends, I have so much confidence that he will do well with them because Sarvesh is so comfortable with Sandhavi and Harshini.
Now, a different make up, with black big shinning cap, shinning silver overcoat for sarvesh, long black frock for Sandhavi and Harshini. Sarvesh in the middle, left-Sandhavi and right- Harshini. Now also he searched for me, but we didn’t show our face. It’s a lovely rock song, I don’t remember the song, but nice beat, they danced really well, lovely performance, its just one minute dance, but WOW, what a performance, so cute. Everyone enjoyed and asked for once more, so they danced once again. So Happy to see my lovely Boy dancing so nice with his friends, one or two drops of tears in my eyes..may be happy tears. They announced “Wow, Fantastic performance, I love these kids “

I am so shocked and thrilled to see him dancing on the stage without any fear and shy. I want to know the secret of this. When the program was over, Sarvesh came to me, I told him, “super da chellam, you did a lovely dance, I like it so much”. Immediately he asked , “where is my bigger bus that you promised to buy if I dance well”. I donno what to say and just realized this may the secret of his lovely performance. On the way to home, I asked him, how cum you didn’t cry on the stage. He told me ”Sandhavi asked me not to cry and if I cry she won’t talk to me”. What a great friendship, I remember that deva thriumagal scene – a small girl helping her friend for rhyme competition at school..Kids are always great

We were not allowed to take photos, but I took only one and waiting for CD copy of the program.

Annual Day Celebration..Lovely experience for me.
