Sarvesh’s first time visit to Day Spring

I always wish to celebrate my b’day with kids in Orphange , but after my marriage I didn’t get any chance to do so. They are so precious, very nice kids, they are so friendly, helpful and looks so bright. Those kids’ smile teaches us so many things to us. Though we got everything, we still feel for the things that we didn’t get, but they are so practically, whatever they got, they are so happy about it and make others happy. So this year b’day I wish to celebrate in an orphanage near Red hills. Though that Orphange is so long from my place, I really need to go there with my Sarvesh. He is now able to understand others feeling and has little habit of helping others, and I want him to do it better as he grows. So I decided to take him to an orphanage.

Without knowing where we are going, he was so excited to go that new place. He dressed up very neatly and keep on asking who are will be there in that new place. I usually tell him like this “ nee sapateena nan oru edathukku kuteetitu povaen” he acts like a very nice boy if I say like this. It almost took 2 hrs to reach Day Spring Orphange – Red hills from my place. My friends also came with me. Sarvesh enjoyed the travel, but when we reached near to Day spring, we are totally out of way, we don’t know which path to go, wherever we see, its full of dark and roads are very bad, we are unable to drive the car. But we enjoyed each and every moment of the travel with Sarvesh.

Finally, a grand pa showed us the way to reach there. When we reach there, all the kids have finished their home works and waiting for us. A small girl, her name s Silambarasi, very smart girl welcomed Sarvesh to their home. Sarvesh always ask me to hold his hand when we go to a new place, but this time, he walks independently and smiled at the kids.

They started introducing to us, there are almost 20 kids, Silambarasi, Lakshmi,……. Ramesh, Ajith kumar, when the boy says Ajith kumar, Sarvesh smiled at me because he was thinking about the actor Ajith in Mankhatha. Sarvesh smiled at Ajith Kumar, as he thought he might be also one hero, but really Ajith is a really hero, he dance very nice and he spoke very politely.

I introduced my friends and Sarvesh to them, the kids looks so happy with him. Then they started praying for us and sang devotional songs before the cake cutting. Then I asked Sarvesh to cut the cake and my friends and myself distributed the cake pieces to the kids. He started crying “Mummy ennakku” , I totally forgot him and silambarasi gave her cake to him. I felt so proud to see her. She is just 10 yrs old and you won’t believe, she is so matured in taking care of Sarvesh.

I asked the kids to sing any song for us. Silambarasi with so much confidence danced and sang for us. She is a good singer and a very great dancer too, Sarvesh almost enjoyed it. Then, Lakshmi gave a very fantastic performance; I really enjoyed everything, in my life time I didn’t get this much of enjoyment for my B’day. They are so good in dancing and singing, they are so talented. Boys gang are so quiet, I asked why only there are good singers and dancers among girls, why boys are so silent. Immediately, ramesh came infront of us, but he has some starting trouble, so I asked my friend to dance with him, its unbelievable, ramesh danced so well, his legs are not in one place, really its very difficult to dance like that. He is a small prabhu deva, he danced so well, my friend told me that he himself not able to pick up to ramesh’s speed.

Awesome performance by each and every kid in that orphanage. There are no words to express my b’day enjoyment with Sarvesh and other kids there. Finally, they gave a small gift to my son and a small b’day gift to me. That’s so worthy gift, its comprises of stories written by the small kids. Those stories are kids bed time stories and so useful and interesting to my Sarvesh.

So its almost time to start to home, so we said bye to kids and I happily came out of their home, but I forgot something, suddenly Sarvesh called me and told “Mummy nan ingae irukkaen” , I totally forgot him to take him with me, all the kids laughed very loudly. I was so happy that I made a small smile in their face. Its worth than everything in my life.

sarvesh first home work

Sarvesh tells almost 5 to 10 rhymes, he always plays mix and matches the rhymes. He uses to mix two or three rhymes together with the same tune. It is so nice to hear those mixed rhymes. For example, he mix first two lines of ABCD rhyme with last three lines of Are you sleeping rhyme. I felt so surprise to see him like this. But one day I really felt so hard to handle him with his first home work.

His teacher asked him to write straight lines in a four ruled notebook. They have provided two dot and ask him to connect these two lines. On Oct 21st, they gave him the first homework. It was my worst weekend then ever before with my Sarvesh.

The minute I say Sarvesh shall we write, he will say he is hungry, after food, he will say i want to sleep. After sleep, if I ask him, shall we write he will say he wants to write only with his Dad. I lost my patience, two days went like this.

He wrote one straight line thro the page and asked me the rub the unwanted lines. Got so irritated with his activities, but it’s a better idea though.

Sarvesh’s dad told me, not to compel him to write his home work. I m so worried, because we need to make a habit of writing to him at this age, he will gonna complete three yrs after few months.

Finally, I told him if you write your homework, I will give my IPOD to play. He said ok, I will play for some time and then I will write. So he played for few hours, then I asked him shall we write. He said he is not interested to write and he wants to play. I lost my temper and I shouted at him.

He politely told me “Sorry Mummy, I will write”, so I made everything ready, pencil and notebook ready. Suddenly he hit the pencil on the wall, the sharpness gone. He told me I can’t write with this pencil. Slowly he makes me irritated again, but still I hope he will write. Then i sharpen the pencil and his notebook is missing. I asked him where is your notebook, he told “kaka thookittu poochu” , really got irritated again and said its your wish to write, not write for me and I went to kitchen for my works.

After sometime, he comes to me and say that he will write, playing with IPOD in one hand and doing his homework in another hand.

Now I felt, only thing which is very difficult is to make your kid to do his homework. I need to find any different strategy to make him to do his homework J

I am not too good in writing poems. But i have so much interest to write tamil poems. i love good lyrics from tamil songs.

i even to feel the love and pain and started writing poems. The one stated above is for my lovable son.

he is a new flower in my life. i always protect him and make him grow in a healthy environment.

He is my soul and he is everything to me. He makes my life so brighter and happier than ever.

Love him so much than i ever anyone.

He is my sweet friend, i have learnt so many good habits from him.

I wont be so respectful to people at times. I donno, i have this habit from my childhood. Sarvesh makes me realise that its a very bad habit.

He started calling us in a very respectful manner. In tamil its "engae".. for each sentence, we should add "ingae"

if some one ask me "unnakku enna vaenum", i would say "ennakku onnum vaenam">
but sarvesh will say "Ennakku onnum vaenamimngae";.. in so respectful manner.

I love such habits from him. and i also try to change my slang.
i even started calling sarvesh in a respectful manner .. with "ingae" at the last.

Very happy about my Sarvesh.

First girl friend

You know Sarvesh has grown up so faster, and he is so matured at his age.

one day, when i reach home at 10.15 pm, he started saying all sorts of stories, what happen at home, what happen at school, and who scolded him, all those stuffs.

I was listening his cute stories. suddenly he says "harshini enna pathu sirucha".It means a Harshini smiled at me.

i was wondering , i asked him who is harshini. Then he told, harshini is in school.

i was very curious to see harshini, the next day. so when i went to drop him, my eyes was searching for harshini.

but there are so many cute little girls, i cant find out harshini, i asked sarvesh, but he didnt help, he was so curious to play with the kids. And also there are so many girls around him, so i cant able to find out Harshini.

Next day, my curosity goes beyond, i enquired his teacher about harshini. Then,his teacher showed me harshini.

Harshini, a cute little girl.She looks like angel in a white dress. i was really shocking to see sarvesh, helping harshini to take the playing kit.

That was a great experience of finding sarvesh new girl friend.

Frist day to school

Sarvesh is now 2 adn half years. His first trip to pre school was very nice and interesting. He started saying to his grandma and grandpa before he goes to school. He shows so much interest to go to school for the first day.

First day, he was so excited to see the new place and new friends. Its like parents should be with their kid for first day in school. From next day, we should be there with them.

so, first day was very fun and playful for him. Next day, the game starts. He was crying continuously for 3 hours, vomited, and not mingled with any kids.

Slowly, he started settle down. Day by day, i can see his improvement and also his teacher also gives me some important tips to make him comfortable to come to school.

He is such a very good adjustable kid. I love to be his mom forever. He understands the situation in all places.
One day, me and hari planned to go out with him, so we asked him, we will go out and you shouldn't go to school today. He started crying and asking us "why i should not go to school"

We were really shocked and unable to answer him. Then, we changed our plan. We put him in school and then we alone went out. i was very happy about his activities after going to school.
Pre-school experience was very nice to me and Sarvesh :)
